Last night's practice

A friend of mine who is on my national team and the Rick Mercer Report were was touch and talked about coming out and doing a "broadcast" about Power Chair Football. It took some time to figure out the date and time but it was done because we needed a good gym and about 5 1/2 hours to do it. We decided to do it on October 15th which was yesterday at Parkgate Community Centre. When i got out of my van I saw him driving part way on the curb to do a "intro". When he was done I went up to introduce myself and found him to be hilarious.  It didn't end there though. He brought his crew to film. Two of the parents brought two power chairs and Rick got to practice with us. You could imagine that he was crashing into walls and into players. We all found it to be so funny. We did our usual training session where we did backing up drills, corner kicks, penalty kicks and kick ins and then a scrimmage at the end of the practice. I only have one thing left to say and that is what an amazing experience.
